My brain is all yours

I work best when I can give something my full attention. That’s why I only work with a limited number of clients at once.

When you choose to work with me, you get my brain dedicated to you – my headspace isn’t split between different topics or juggling a hundred tasks.

It’s all you baby!

It also means you’ll get your content sooner. Once we have our kick-off call, we can progress to final delivery in three weeks (four weeks for longer-form content).

Initial 15 minute chat to hear about your content and see if we’ll be a good fit
Proposal sent
Lock in your spot with a 50% deposit
Brainstorm and refine topic
Complete briefing document
Book in calls

Week 1: Research + writing

Kick-off call: we’ll go through the briefing doc and figure out the project outline
Information gathering interview: Zoom call with your client or subject matter expert to get me across your point of view
Research: I’ll get deep into the resources, stats, and information I need to add credibility to your content.
Writing: I’ll work my magic with your insights and create some stand-out content

Week 2: Review

I’ll deliver the draft and send the final invoice
Review period starts: We have 14 days to collaborate and get the content just right. We can go back and forth as many times as you need – there is no limit on the amount you can request.

Week 3: Review + Delivery

14 day review period continued
Client sign off
Proofreading (outsourced to professional proofreader)
Final version delivered and copyright signed over

Questions

What’s your lead time?
Because I only work with a limited number of clients at once, I normally have a 4-6 week lead time. I work on a first-come first-served basis so if you know you need something, let me know as soon as you can.

What’s your turnaround time?
Once I have all the information (briefing document, research materials, interviews) I can deliver a first draft within a week.

Do you really offer unlimited amends?
Absolutely. I offer unlimited amends within a dedicated review period of 14 days. Once I deliver the first draft, you can request as many changes as you like within the two-week review period. I do my best to turn around amends within 24 business hours of receiving.

What happens if we don’t finish it within the 14 day period?
I know that managing internal reviews is tricky, especially if you have a lot of reviewers. I’ll give you plenty of warning when the draft is coming your way so you can tee up anyone who needs to review it.

And I’m always here to help if you need it. Even if your reviewers come back a year later (yes, it has happened!) I’m happy to help you out. I’ll open a new project billed at my hourly editing rate.

How much do you charge?
To make things easy, I have set rates for most things. Check out my rates page. I also have packages for lead magnets and whitepapers.
